What are the terms of occupancy ?
Units are let on a 3, 5 or 10 year lease. 'Easy in easy out' trading licenses are also available (llimited units only)

Are there any other regular charges?
Business rates (from £75 per month, depending on the size of the unit) are payable to the local council. Significant discounts are available for sole traders. There is also a charge for electrical usage within the unit, payable to the market office.

What are the set up costs?
The total cost depends on the product or service you are offering, but as a guide:

  • Initial lease/administration fees £300.
  • Shop fitting. All units are supplied clean and empty.
  • Holding deposit required.

Are there any storage facilities?
There are two levels of secure storage facilities below the market floor, available from approximately £60 per month.

Is parking available?
No, however, there is access to a loading bay for deliveries and collections with 1 hour of free use. Low cost parking is available within the vicinity.

What are the opening hours?
9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
